1tablespooncornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water (for thickening)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and parsley (if using). Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and arrange them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs for approximately 20 minutes or until fully cooked and lightly browned.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir until well blended and bring to a gentle simmer.
Gradually add the cornstarch-water mixture to the sauce, stirring constantly for about 2-3 minutes until thickened, then remove from heat.
Carefully remove the meatballs from the oven and transfer them into the saucepan with the honey garlic sauce. Toss gently until fully coated.
Scoop the glazed meatballs onto a serving platter and drizzle any remaining sauce over the top.
Notes
Serve on a rustic wooden board, garnished with sesame seeds and fresh parsley.
