to tasteextra chopped green onion for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped green onion, grated ginger, minced garlic, beaten egg, black pepper, and salt. Mix until just combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the meatballs for approximately 20 minutes, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir and bring to a simmer.
Slowly incorporate the cornstarch mixture into the simmering sauce, whisking constantly until thickened, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Transfer the baked meatballs to a large mixing bowl, pour the thickened glaze over them, and gently toss until coated.
Arrange the glazed meatballs on a serving platter or individual plates. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and additional chopped green onion.
